The scam checker that doesn’t stop at a verdict.
Built first for South Africans on Android, roughly 55 and over, who get scam WhatsApps and SMSes and worry about losing money.
It walks you through pausing, verifying with the real organisation and recording your decision before any money moves.

What do I get after I share a message?
Not a one-word answer. SafeComn lays out where the message came from and what it asks for, then takes you through checking with the real organisation. The last line is yours to fill in: what you decided.
The sheet here is a sample, with made-up details.
Where does it live on my phone?
SafeComn is a web app you install on your Android phone. It appears in the Share menu, so a WhatsApp or SMS message goes straight in. You can also paste one in.

What does a check walk me through?
1. Pause
Nothing has to happen right now. SafeComn asks you to stop before you reply, click or pay, and look at what the message is really asking for.
2. Verify with the real organisation
You check with the organisation yourself, using a number or site you already trust, not one from the message. SafeComn lays out the steps.
3. Record your decision
Write down what you decided, before any money moves. The check ends with your own words, not a verdict.
What does it cost?
Free to start. One paid plan, priced in rand.
